Area Rug Cleaning

Whether you have an Oriental, machine-made, knit, wool, or knotted area rug, our cleaning experts can make it look new. We’ll also protect your rug from long-term damage and normal wear.  

Our five-step process of cleaning your area rug includes: 
     1. Using a dusting machine to remove all the buildup of dirt in the fibres. 
     2. Testing the rug for colourfastness. 
     3. Removing spots and stains by hand. 
     4. Soaking the rug in soapy water followed by a jet wash. 
     5. Hanging the rug in a drying room and hand cleaning any fringes. 

Carpet Cleaning

Even with regular vacuuming, your carpet will trap dust and dirt. With professional cleaning services in your home, you’re able to remove excess pollutants and allergens that the carpet has naturally picked up. You’ll also rid your carpet of mold, dust mites, and other irritants that can affect you and your family. To clean your carpet, we use steam and a soap solution, followed by our eco-friendly extraction method and a deodorizer and protectant. This applies to all carpet types, including Berber, textured plush, low pile carpeting, carpets made with synthetic fibres, synthetic plush, shag, level loop pile, saxony, cut loop, and cut pile.

Tile and Grout Cleaning

Just like with carpet, tile flooring is no stranger to grime, and it’s likely that your grout has a buildup of dirt that you’re unaware of. We can restore your tile and grout to its original colour, extending the life it has left. Alexanian experts work with many tile and grout, including natural stone, vinyl tile, and vinyl plank. Our process involves cleaning the grout with non-acid cleaners and a grout cleaning brush followed by a water-based sealer.

Upholstery Cleaning

It’s a good idea to clean your upholstery each year to keep it in tip-top shape. Similar to carpets, upholstery can gather excess irritants that are only eliminated with regular professional cleaning. After our experts finish cleaning, we’ll encourage you to let your furniture air dry.

Area Rug Repair

Even if you think your rug is beyond repair, we can still help. It’s best if you have us repair your rug right away, but either way, our experts can re-knot, re-weave, and re-fringe your rug back into place, and even fix large holes with a combination of machine and handiwork. Oriental, hand-knotted, hand-tufted, machine-made, braided, shag, sisal, flat-woven, and even indoor/outdoor rugs are not beyond our abilities. 

Custom Rug Creations

Add some uniqueness to your home or office by ordering a custom rug for your space. The process involves deciding where to place the new rug and choosing the materials, colours, and design. This service also includes customizing one of our rugs to fit a specific space by cutting it down as needed.
